Town of Aztalan

The first installment is due by January 31, 2024.

Cash payments will NOT be accepted.

Please make checks payable to “Town of Aztalan”.

If you receive a check from your mortgage company and it is made out to you AND the Town of Aztalan, please be sure to endorse the back.

You may pay at the Town Hall on the above dates or mail your payment to the Town Treasurer at the above address. 

If you choose to mail your payment to the Town Treasurer and you want a receipt, you MUST include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your payment.

If you choose to pay in two installments, the second installment is due to the Jefferson County Treasurer by July 31, 2024.  Do not send the second installment to the Town Treasurer.

Note that it is the homeowner’s responsibility to report real estate tax amounts to their mortgage company.  If your taxes are paid from an escrow account, please make sure your mortgage company has the correct amount and mailing address.
